We are professional story tellers based in South Yorkshire with international appeal. Most of our stories are made to be shared in theatres, libraries, schools, nurseries, community venues and festivals performed by professional theatre artists. Some require plenty of young participants to create the story as Youth Theatre Projects, while others are written and shared as printed books… …But all of our stories are made for children (and their families) by listening to children’s voices as part of our story-making journey. It keeps us in touch with the extraordinary possibilities of seeing things with your heart.
Tell Tale Hearts devise new stories and play with old tales to deliver interactive theatre experiences for primary children, younger years and their grown ups too.
Through a unique mix of creativity and interactivity we aim to give children the opportunity to experience the imaginative power of stories by using well crafted theatrical techniques. Tell Tale Hearts aim to promote accessibility of theatre to children through devising pieces that appeal to children of mixed ability and cultural background and that can be delivered in different environments. We are always exploring new theatrical techniques to find different ways of sharing stories in the most engaging way possible.
