Arts Catalyst is a visual arts organisation and charity. We collaborate with artists and communities on creative projects that ask questions about the world around us. Our work happens in community spaces, landscapes, our shared city centre space Soft Ground, and online via Radio Arts Catalyst.
We create free opportunities for children and young people to explore ideas in our programme through family-friendly workshops and collaborative projects, where young people co-produce artworks with artists in a creative process that supports experimentation and learning. An example of this is our forthcoming project Dead Cat Bounce (autumn 2024), which involves a co-produced radio opera about climate change with artist collective Waste Paper Opera and partners Chol Theatre and King Edward School.
