Future Now Festival - Sheffield Hallam Univeristy
The Festival of Creativity showcases the work of Sheffield Hallam University’s graduating students, including artists, designers, filmmakers, animators, writers, architects and performers. SHU ask emerging creatives to show us the future through exhibitions, events, performances and screenings.
SHU aim to present creative proposals to real problems: from new fashion to new videogames human-centred approaches to the built environment to greater sustainability in the products we buy.
These ‘creatives’ propose new brands and services, help us glimpse alternative realities, and launch new enterprises, but most of all they tell stories, documenting the world as they find it and how they’d like it to be.
The Festival of Creativity takes place across Sheffield city centre through April, May, June and July 2024.
Schools or Colleges can book a half-day workshop in relation to the courses exhibited, please email Kate Smith.
SHU will also have the schools art show on as part of the Future Now festival – date to be announced but follow us on Instagram
