Music in the Round is launching a new project especially for Key Stage 2 students, combining a fun and educational concert at the Crucible Theatre with a programme of weekly sessions for teachers to learn a host of new approaches to music-making in the classroom.

The accessible and comprehensive teacher-training programme will run for six weeks, starting from June 3rd. Over the weekly twilight sessions, you will learn singing repertoire to support your development as a teacher; you will be equipped to offer Singing, Listening, Composing, and Performing in the classroom. The training sessions will culminate in a concert for you and your class at the Crucible Theatre with world-class musicians, who will play a one-hour, presented tour through chamber music with plenty of opportunities for participation!

Prices

Project registration fee: £150 (includes 6 weekly twilight sessions at the Crucible Theatre, plus classroom resources)

Concert tickets: £3.50 per child, Adults FREE
