What: Autumn Family Watercolour Workshop

When: Saturday 26th October, 9:30-12:00

Where: Dungworth Village Hall, S6 6HF

Who: 4-14 years olds with their families

Join us this Half Term holiday for a morning of family creative fun.

We will focus on harvest vegetables including pumpkins of all shapes and sizes!

You will learn:

-How watercolour paint is applied to the page

-To use the colours from the pan and to mix colours as needed

-To use ‘Wet on wet’ and ‘Wet on dry’ techniques

-To create tones and tints

-To look carefully at your subject and drawing what you see

-By the end of the session, you will have a finished masterpiece to take home and share with your friends and family!

What will you need to bring?

You are welcome to bring your own watercolour paints and brushes. You will find better quality paints produce better results. Some children’s watercolour pans are very hard and can be difficult to get a good result from but feel free to bring them along to try.

I provide all the paper you may need but feel free to bring a sketchbook if you have one.

How much does it cost?

The session is £5 each for 2.5hrs of tuition, all the inspiration you could wish for and cake too!
