Tair has just concluded a successful Theatre in Education tour in Rotherham with their play 'Paradise Square'. He is now preparing a follow-up project, 'The Haunting of Lenny Maggot', touring to schools in Rotherham and Sheffield for summer term 2025. This will be a play with an anti-bullying theme delivered directly to schools, a live performance including puppetry. The price will be £350. There will be provision for up to eight free anti-bullying workshops after the performance, pending funding approval. The project will be written and directed by Rotherham playwright Tair Rafiq, produced by Kat Fletcher of the Royal Shakespeare company, with Ann Foxley-Johnson of The Anti-Bullying Company of Rotherham as consultant.
