We have a few spaces currently available for our weekly creative youth group 'Young Creatives.' The group is suitable for young people aged 11-16 years, and the group usually takes place every Tuesday evening during term time in Hillsborough. Here's what you can expect from the group:
- Have a say in designing a youth club that meets the needs of young people in North Sheffield.
- Participate in weekly sessions that foster creativity, growth, and connection.
- Trips to theatres, museums and other cultural events across South Yorkshire.
- Meet other likeminded young people and have fun!
- Perhaps you're interested in a creative career when you’re older? Boost your creative CV, attend workshops with professional artists and assist in creating exhibitions/events.
- We are a registered Children's University Learning destination, so time spent attending our youth group can be added to your passport to learning and contribute towards your CU achievements.
It is important to us that this group is co-designed with young people and their voices are heard throughout, so we can ensure the youth club is exactly what they need it to be. We aim to make our youth group an accessible & safe space for all, and will try to address any barriers to participation that young people attending may have. We can assist with travel expenses to and from the sessions.
If you're keen, please get in touch and we will arrange a phone call to explain how to register your young person. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and spaces are limited. We accept donations but there is no fixed fee for attending the group.
