Link Learning is a team of teachers, musicians and artists who believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop and express their creativity.
We work with schools, children’s hospitals and community centres to deliver high-quality creative activities that encourage exploration, discovery and experimentation. Our fresh approach engages high numbers of children including those who can be left behind by a more traditional approach.
Link Learning provide 1-1 and small group piano and guitar tuition to children in schools across the country. Our lessons are creative in focus, ensuring that children have the opportunity to improvise and compose on their instruments.
We also work with Sheffield Children's Hospital to deliver a range of musical activities. We take a mini studio around children's bedsides so they can experiment with music technology to create music in an exploratory, low-pressure way. We also bring our music studio to children with complex mental health issues at the Becton Centre. Recently, we have developed a build your own theremin kit to be distributed to children at the Children's Hospital while we are waiting for our face-face sessions to resume.
We also deliver an after school art club to children in Sheffield to encourage creativity in the education system. This club includes stop frame animation, arts and crafts, design led work and creative play.
