Soundpost is a Sheffield based artist led organisation that coordinates a range of participatory events, exploring folk traditions through practical workshops, performances, debate and discussion.
Folk Factory is a music ensemble dedicated to exploring folk music, tunes, songs and dance from around the world in a fun and friendly way. We learn by ear, write and arrange our own pieces and do lots of performances, in Sheffield and further afield! We meet at The Burton Street Foundation Junior Group: every Wednesday 17:00–18:00 Dance: every Wednesday 17:45–18:30 Youth Group: every Wednesday 18:15–19:15 And Newfield and Carfield School groups
